  • AI digital technologies to support gene therapy and RNA drug analysis and discovery, Spoke Biocomputing of  the PNRR National Center for Gene Therapy and Drugs based on RNA Technology,  funded by the NextGenerationEU program of the EU (2023-2025)

  • Adaptive AI methods for Digital Health, project funded by the NextGenerationEU program program of the EU in the context of the PNRR Future Artificial Intelligence – FAIR project (2024-2025)

  • Scientific coordinator for UNIMI of the EU Collaborative Doctoral Partnership in Genomics and Bioinformatics, funded by the European Commission in collaboration with the EU Joint Research Centers (2020-2025). The five-year collaboration contract is renewable at the end of the five-year period.

  • European PRACE project ParBigMen: ParSMURF application to Big genomic and epigenomic data for the detection of pathogenic variants in Mendelian diseases, funded by the European Union (2020-2022)

  • Machine Learning and Data Analytics for Genomic Medicine, PSR grant funded by University of Milan (2020-2021)

  • Head of the UNIMI unit of the Finding-MS project within the European project ERA-PerMed Joint Transnational Call 2018 (2020-2023)

  • Machine Learning and Big Data analysis for Computational Biology (2019-2020), funded by the University of Milan

  • ParStoBig: ParSMURF Scaling to Big Data, pre-PRACE project funded by EU (2019)

  • HyperGeV: Detection of Deleterious Genetic Variation through Hyper-ensemble Methods (2016-2018), funded by CINECA and the Lombardy Region

  • HPC-SoMuC: Development of Innovative HPC Methods for the Detection of Somatic Mutations in Cancer (2017-2018), funded by CINECA and the Lombardy Region.

  • Head of the UNIMI unit of the project A composite predictive model of response to Fingolimod: integration of clinics, neuroimaging and genomics, funded by the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (2016-2018).
